1916 First Ackermans store opens in Wynberg, Cape Town.
1901 Bradlows opens in Johannesburg Central, during the gold rush.
1965 First PEP store opens in De Aar.
1969 PepClo starts manufacturing Student Prince school clothes.
In 1978, years before the fall of apartheid, PEP management successfully partnered with a black-owned business.
